δαίμων — an attendant spirit, neither mortal nor god
The daemon between your business and what it could become.
Daemon Corporation designs and operates the quiet infrastructure — ledgers, logistics, and eventually the sensors on the floor — that runs continuously beneath a growing business, so the people inside it can work at the level of decisions, not data entry.
Philosophy
Two meanings,
one discipline.
In old Greek thought, a daímōn was neither mortal nor god — a guiding intermediary that carried will between the two. In computing, a daemon is a process that runs in the background indefinitely, attending to requests no one has to think about.
We took the name because we build both at once: systems that quietly mediate between a business's daily operations and the decisions its owners actually want to make — always running, rarely noticed, never idle.
As spirit
An intermediary, not a master.
Attends without being summoned.
Carries will between two worlds.
As process
A service, not an interface.
Listens without being polled.
Carries data between two systems.
One operating system,
built module by module.
Each module is born from a real operational need, and built to eventually speak to every other.
Accounting
Chart of accounts, ledgers, journal vouchers, fixed assets — the financial spine everything else posts to.
Inventory
Materials, products, locations, and the physical flow of stock between them.
Procurement
Quotation through to payment — the full purchasing chain, one voucher at a time.
Sales
Quotation through to receipt — the selling chain, mirrored against procurement.
Entity & Access
Companies, branches, roles, and the privileges that govern who may touch what.
Documents
Compliance paperwork that tracks its own expiry and reminds itself before it lapses.
CRM
The relationships a business runs on, held with the same discipline as its ledgers.
IoT
Sensors on the physical floor, feeding the same ledger the office already trusts.
The ecosystem's first full manifestation — a complete business operating system built end to end: procurement, sales, inventory, accounting, fixed assets, and the access control that governs all of it. Live, and in daily use.
